ALL YOU NEED IS MUSIC
The band was formed in the city of Campos do Jordão, São Paulo, the main mountain-climate tourist city in Brazil. Each of the band's three vocalists had their own musical project, and all of them had been working in all the restaurants, pubs, and events in the city for over 18 years.
On a Saturday night, the other members of Fábio Teles' band (Two Zé Band) couldn't make it to the show, so he urgently invited his friends and colleagues Irwing Baptista (from Irw Trio), Alexandre Monteiro, and Loo Félix (the last two from Loo Félix Band) to perform. The owners and managers of the other restaurants already knew each of those musicians from their individual projects, but it was the first time they saw the three vocalists performing together with Alexandre Monteiro on drums.
The immediate chemistry of that performance and the show's success led to a high demand for that specific lineup from restaurants and pubs. Since then, the four musicians have been performing as The 4 Glasses Band not only in the city of Campos do Jordão but also throughout the state of São Paulo. Special highlights include performances at the Giro d'Italia and L'étape, international mountain bike events, whose stage to international series takes place in Campos do Jordão.
The group's setlist is not only vast but also very dynamic; the members are always bringing new songs to the band. The band also features special themed shows, such as the Elvis Presley special (Loo Félix has been doing Elvis covers for 10 years). The band also performs specials on the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, and various other artists.
